Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!! This day has new meaning to me and I've been welling up all day over various things. First, I have to work 12 hours on Mother's Day, so Dave, Anson and I celebrated Saturday. Dave bought me the most beautiful flowers I've seen since our wedding. I love lilys and they were just beautiful. He also bought me a lovely charm necklace with Anson's initial and a Mother's charm. His cards were so thoughtful, as always. I am so lucky to have Dave and Anson and no-one could have prepared me for the love I would feel. I look at Anson with Dave and it's over-whelming what I feel. If I could bottle that feeling and sell it!!!!!!

So, Happy's Mother's Day to all the wonderful, smart, loving, beautiful women I know. To my Grandmother Marie and my mother, thank you for your unconditional love and friendship. To my Aunt Peggy and Pam, you have been like mothers to me in so many ways. I was raised by all of you and I am a better person because of it. To my mother-in-law, Marcia, thank you for your amazing son that has brought so much love and joy in my life. He is an amazing man, husband and father. You did good. To Dave's Aunt Bonnie, we are blessed to have you in our lives and the world is sweeter because of you. To Dave's sister, Heather........I can't believe this is our first Mother's Day together! I have to pinch myself in amazement at where we are today. And, to my brother's wife, Kendra, thank you for being an amazing mother to my nephew, Haden. He is a joy to everyone who knows him. Quite handsome too!!!!

To all of the awesome mothers I work with, thank you for your support during my first months of being a nightshift mom!!! I could not have done this without you.

In Loving Memory of:
