The Today Show

Great news!

Next Thursday, August 9, NBC’s “Today Show” will feature Richard Solove and two of his 13 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost automobiles that will be auctioned off later this month in Pebble Beach, California to benefit cancer research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James).

The “Today Show” segment, hosted by Matt Lauer, Meredith Viera and Ann Curry, will highlight Mr. Solove’s philanthropic gesture of donating all of the proceeds of his world-renowned collection to the OSUCCC-James.

Mr. Solove will appear in the live segment – to run sometime between 8:30-9:00 a.m. – along with David Schuller, MD, senior executive director of The James, and David Gooding, founder and president of Gooding & Company, which will conduct the sale on August 19.

Television sets around The James and in Season’s Café and will be tuned to NBC that morning. We will also tape the segment and make it available for viewing on OneSource and Jamesline.com later that day.
